Speech Transcriber

Using the Google Speech API to get the transcription of an audio file which is < 1 minute.

How it works

1. Convert your audio

Your audio file has to be either in FLAC, LINEAR 16, or RAW format and has to be < 1 minute long. We installed FFMEG on our server and run a shell script to covert the uploaded file to the required format.

2. Pass audio file to the API

Set the parameters to that of an Enhanced Model. Make sure the encoding in the config variable matches that as the format set in Step 1.
