Brief/ Objective

  1. To promote India's India’s Intended Nationally Determined Contribution INDCs globally
  2. To promote India's initiatives towards combating Climate Change
  3. To educate & sensitize the public-at-large about Climate Change

Approach

Climate Change Division of the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEFCC) was given a Digital Presence.

  1. "Just Climate Action" website was created for the Climate Change Division of MoEFCC
  2. Content was given a lot of attention. Case Studies were collected from all government agencies. A nodal officer was appointed in all divisions who were responsible for prividing the case studies. India's vast work in Climate Change was put under one roof for the first time
  3. Video was leveraged. The then Hon'ble Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change gave his video address to explain India's stand which was also played at the India Pavillion at CoP21, Paris
  4. Infographics were created to explain India's stand at CoP21
  5. The entire event was live tweeted from Paris
